I come from a small village and complete my engineering in Electronics & Telecommunication. After graduation, I didn’t have a clear career direction or exposure to software roles. I was simply trying to figure things out.
Due to financial responsibilities, I joined electronics and manufacturing roles. While the experience was valuable, growth felt limited and the desire to work in software stayed with me.
During a particularly confusing phase, I spoke with my mentor, Anand Kulkarni. He didn’t complicate things. He simply advised me to start learning Salesforce seriously. That clarity changed everything.
It wasn’t smooth. I worked long shifts during the day and learned at night. There were skill gaps, confidence issues, and rejections. But consistency, even on difficult days, slowly built momentum.
Over time, I worked across multiple Salesforce implementations, with Service Cloud becoming my core strength. Today, I handle administration, development, and data responsibilities on large-scale projects.
Atman gave me structure when I needed direction. The mentorship helped me focus on the right skills, apply learning to real projects, and build confidence step by step. It wasn’t just about Salesforce. It was about learning how to grow with discipline and clarity.
You don’t need a perfect beginning. You need patience, guidance, and the habit of showing up consistently.
Your message to aspiring professionals Start where you are. Learn daily. Find mentors who simplify the path. Believe that progress compounds, even when it’s slow.
